This baby squirrel was either born with a stunted paw or was injured. I saw her searching the bird feeder droppings for food and noticed that her paw was being used like a hook. She can climb trees seemingly quite well. I'm hoping that she can survive the winter. I'm sure that this sort of thing happens all of the time, but it is still sad to see. She seems to be adapting, so we'll see. See the photos after the break.
